I had a lovely photoshoot tonight with my three newest and least shot dolls, Rhys, Raleigh and Newt, since their wigs and eyes and things are finally here. So I took a bunch of photos, then started to run out of light. Then I realised that I still hadn't installed my camera software on my new computer and then I accidentally downloaded everything on my card (~600 photos) and by the time I got everything edited it was already half an hour past my bedtime. So.

New pictures tomorrow I hope!

In other news, I decided to clean some stuff out of the doll box that I don't really use, and may add a few more things at some point; a bunch of clothing for boys and girls, a wig, some shoes, as well as a couple of Elfdoll optional resin pieces (hands, feet). My Eun-a has arrived and she is beyond beautiful. I'm completely thrilled to pieces with her. Her name is going to be Temperance Newton, or Newt, for short.

Sadly, the wig that I had for Vivien (Winter) does not really work for Newt at all. I've ordered a new wig from Jpopdolls for her, along with a new wig for Rhys which will hopefully be here shortly! Rhys' new wig is a long straight natural-ish red colour. Newt's wig is a curly chocolate brown. Can't wait! God, I hope they both work!

1. Hershey's or Nestle's?
Hersheys tends to be a bit better, but Nestle just has so much more variety, so I'm going with Nestle here.

2. Ghost movies or slasher movies?
Ghost movies! Slasher movies tend to be a bit too gross for my taste.

3. Who was your favorite author as a child?
The one I remember liking most when I was kid was Susan Cooper.

4. What's your favorite album?
Oh god, just one? Tool, 10,000 Days.

5. You can go back in time and visit a time period for one day with no consequences or risks. Where  and when do you go?
Augh. This is another really tough one. If I could go back in time, I'd want to see a major battle, but I'm kind of torn between four; The Battle of Hastings, The Battle of Agincourt, The Battle of Thermopylae or The Battle of Gaugamela. I'm going to say The Battle of Agincourt, so France on 25 October 1415.

7. A genie will grant you one wish, what do you wish for? (You cannot wish for more wishes!)
Let's hope I get a nice genie, not one of those ones that likes to twist wishes around. I am going to wish for happiness for myself and my loved ones.

8. What toppings do you like on your pizza?
I like ham and pineapple, or chorizo sausage and goat cheese. YUM!

9. Dracula, Frankenstein or The Wolfman?
Dracula!

10. Halloween or Christmas?
Halloween, for sure. I got married on Halloween day because I love it so much.

11. Who do you most want to see live in concert?
I want The Smalls to get back together and do one more tour!

Okay, so I said that my Migidoll Ryu would be here in about ten business days, depending on customs and holy shit was I ever wrong. He showed up this morning after sliding through customs without charges in two minutes from scan to scan.

I'm in love. He's completely, utterly gorgeous. I will need to redo his faceup; the one he has now is a bit too purple for my tastes and his lips too dark, but that can wait a little while. The wig I got for Rhys is beautiful on him (sorry, Rhys). He's currently wearing a pair of Smokey Topaz Eyeco Silicones. I'm not sure that they're going to stay that colour, but it is rather nice on him.



In other dolly news, I finally decided to get rid of my Vivien head and found a trade partner who had the Eun-a head with faceup three that I wanted, so she should be here towards the end of next week, or early the week after.

I'm so excited!!

There's another boy joining the crew! He should be here in about ten days, give or take, depending on customs. I am SUPER excited.

There's a few dolls that I've always wanted to have, and two of them are already home; my Dollshe Bernard and my Dollshe Saint. My incoming boy is a tan Migidoll Ryu. I am thrilled about this. He'll need a new faceup at some point, but I may leave him with the one he's got for a little while so that I can start taking photos while I shop around for an artist. I am the worst shopper ever, so it may take a while before I find one.

I'm not kidding about being the worst shopper ever, at all. Poor Rhys still doesn't have The Perfect Wig. I ordered him a new one and it got here and I realised right away that it wasn't going to work for his character, so it'll probably end up belonging to Raleigh (the incoming Migidoll) because it's gorgeous and it suits him better than Rhys. Poor Rhys. XD

I am actually within sight of the end of my collecting days. There's a few more that I want; namely a Unoa L-Bi hybrid (who is going to be a girl!), an Aamu Emi and a Ken no Koroko Miguelito. I'd like to get one more Super Gem body so Rhys and Aubery don't have to share, and I'd like to replace my Elfdoll Vivien head with an Elfdoll Eun-a head.  At that point, I plan to be done with adding new dolls to the collection. That.. doesn't seem so small when I type it out, does it?
